The location of the LBBW-Immobilien headquarters in the development area Stuttgart 21 is a wedge-shaped plot between Pariser-, Stockholmer-, and Bibliotheksplatz. The double loop in the form of an eight orients the mass of the building towards the three city squares, so improving their urban-developmental quality. At the same time, the volume of the building recedes towards the crossing point on each long side and creates space for the entrée in this way. The two inner poles of the double loop form the atrium with glass lifts situated at the cross-point of the office building, and the garden courtyard towards the studio and residential building. The concept of ground plans, façades and technical systems creates flexible options for utilization within a modern, sympathetic world to live and work in.
